Chambre d'Hotes - Our Guest Accommodation
The chambre d'hotes is located in our lovingly restored 18th century farmhouse in the charming Vienne region of France. It is not necessary to be on one of our cooking holidays to stay here but arrangements can be made for bespoke classes or small individual tutorials if you wish. Breakfast is provided and each of our tastfully renovated rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. We have four rooms available which are varied in nature and size.
If you are on one of our cooking courses and have any special requirements that we cannot accommodate at the chambre d'hotes we will be happy to assist you in finding accommodation more suitable.
The Grounds at the Chambre d'Hotes Les Ruches
We have a large garden which is perfect for relaxing in during your stay at our chambre d'hotes. You will find there is a terrific view of the Chateau from the main lawn, a small enclosed garden which is perfect for sitting and reading a book and an above-ground plunge pool which is great for cooling-off in during one of our long hot Summers. Being a rural garden you will also find chickens roaming free which give us beautiful fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning.

Blue Room
Double room with shared bathroom:-

Breakfast
Breakfast will be served in the guest lounge of the chambre d'hotes where you will have the choice of freshly baked croissants and other pastries, cereals and toast accompanied by our homemade preserves and honey. We also recommend a real favourite of ours, Les Oeufs en Ramequins, which is a wonderful tasty treat.
The continental breakfast is included in the tariff for your room but we do charge for all cooked breakfasts. Table d'hotes can also be arranged if you let us know one day in advance as Mark, one of the owners, is of course a chef. The fee for a four course meal, including a cheese course, is 20€ per person. If you are on one of our cooking holidays all meals are, or course, included in the course package.
