'La Vie' at Les Ruches French Cooking Holidays

Les Ruches French cooking holidays are based in the grounds of our 18th century farmhouse. A local mason has told us that parts of the farmhouse date back to the 16th century and the farmhouse you see today was restored from a ruined state around 250 years ago. In the grounds you will find our French kitchen garden full of fresh vegetables for you to cook with as well as a variety of fruit trees and soft fruit. At Les Ruches French cooking holidays, wherever possible, we use locally sourced ingredients for environmental reasons and to obtain optimal flavour and goodness that only fresh produce can provide. Our home grown produce has not been treated with any chemicals and for those interested in growing their own organic produce we are more than happy to advise.

From our shop you can buy our delicious honey, homemade preserves and beeswax candles. These make lovely gifts or souvenirs and will remind you of your stay at Les Ruches French cooking holidays.
